By partnering with the private sector through arrangements which leverage governmental assets and resources, opportunities abound for the private sector to participate in the development, financing, ownership and operation of a public facility or service.
Our experience includes defense of numerous governmental entities, municipalities, transits authorities, school districts, law enforcement agencies, counties, and various other public entities and officials – including a past mayor of Harlingen. Although the firm is based in Houston, we have done a tremendous amount of litigation work in the Rio Grande Valley and we are vastly familiar with the court system in that area. In fact, we were involved in successfully representing a school district in a multi-plaintiff/intervenor reduction of force case involving Ed Couch – Elsa Independent School District.
